Final test plans for each revision

Each revision can now have its own final test. In the process editor, a Final test section sits under the work instruction. Add checks as a measurement with a unit, limits and target, a pass or fail, or a recorded value. Each check is required unless you untick it, and can carry instructions for the operator. A draft process ECO can replace the plan.

The produce wizard shows the checks for the revision being built, one field per check. It marks each measurement in or out of spec as the operator types, and shows an overall pass, fail or in progress. A revision with no plan says so and does not block production.

The server judges the results against the plan. If the plan changed while the operator was testing, the wizard reloads it and asks for the results again.

A unit that fails its final test is not lost. The operator can choose “Finish as failed”. The unit gets its serial number and a failed final inspection, and is quarantined for rework, retest or scrap.

The unit page shows the final test as it was when the unit was built: plan version, each result against its limits, and every inspection of the unit. The build order’s Units tab has a new Final test column.
