A new workspace now shows a “Set up your workspace” card on the dashboard. It has four steps: add your first product, add a location, receive your first stock and invite your team. Each step opens the form or dialog where you do it, and it ticks itself off when you finish. You can dismiss the card, and it goes away once all four are done.
The “Add a product” wizard names the product, lists what goes into it and says for each part whether it is tracked by quantity, by serial number or built by you. You can paste or upload a CSV of parts, check a preview of what is new and what you already have, and then create the product.
Empty pages now tell you what to do first. Parts and BOMs offers “Add a product”, and Inventory asks for a location before anything else.
